I’m Christina (she/her)
Christina Delfino is an award-winning New York and destination makeup artist specializing in luxury wedding makeup that is tailored to highlight individual beauty. Christina works closely with her clients to create elevated, timeless looks that transcend the wedding industry’s often-dated and, frankly, homogenizing beauty traditions.
Featured in publications like Martha Stewart Weddings, The Knot, The New York Times, Magnolia Rouge, and Carats & Cake amongst others, Christina’s passion for authenticity and creativity shines through in every aspect of her work.
Personal Philosophy
Christina Delfino Makeup Artistry is rooted in love, equality, and kindness towards all — especially ourselves. I truly believe that makeup can be a powerful tool for self-expression but also for self-discovery and self-actualization. I always aim to give my clients the power that comes with knowing and loving themselves and showing the world who they truly are.
Diversity + Inclusion
My number one priority is to provide my clients with a safe space, comforting atmosphere, and a sense of belonging -- regardless of their identity or expression of that identity. Makeup is for everyone. I support all types of love and all types of people.
I am prepared to serve any face and carry a wide range of products that suit every skin type, tone, and texture. Over the years I’ve done my best to listen, learn, and understand the obstacles that minorities, including men, face within the beauty and personal care industry. With this in mind, please know that I am always willing to hear new perspectives and discuss personal needs or concerns. If you’d like to chat, you can reach me directly at christina@christinadelfino.com.
Lastly, the bridal industry can be very homogenous. While I would love my portfolio to be more diverse right now, I am aware of its current shortcomings in that area. I've been working hard to try to reach a more diverse group of clientele organically, rather than commodifying styled or hired models. If you don’t see yourself represented on my website, get in touch. I’d like to fix that! If you see an area of inclusivity that I can improve on in my business or in the content on my website, I'd sincerely appreciate you reaching out so I can put in the work needed to be a better member of my community.
Kit Contents + Ingredients
I’ve worked for years to build a kit of safe, high-impact, high quality products that have proven themselves time and time again. I do my best to ensure that all products are cruelty-free and ethically sourced, wherever possible. I use a wide variety brands and choose individual products based on performance and client desire over brand or celebrity affiliation. No one brand suits every type of client.
To avoid allergens, I have set up a working ingredient list containing every product in my kit. Please feel free to reach out with allergy and sensitivity concerns and we will be sure to weed out any aggravating ingredients from your design and service.
Sustainability + Sanitation
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, I have updated my sanitation practices, which you can read about more thoroughly here.
As of 3/10/21 Christina Delfino is fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and is happy to provide proof to clients and vendors upon request. Christina is committed to receiving COVID boosters as they're released and is also happy to provide rapid test results prior to any event. She is still masking regularly in public. CDMA team members must provide proof of vaccination prior to being booked.
In both my work and personal lives, I do my best to keep our planet healthy and happy. While some products require disposability to ensure safety and sanitation, I’ve tried to incorporate eco-friendly, sustainable, and minimally packaged or refillable items wherever possible.
Bridal vendor dating profile:
I’m a mom and a wife and a daughter and a secret lover of quantum mechanics. When I’m not working, I’m probably scraping stickers off the floor or catching up on the latest documentaries. I’ll never turn down a viewing of Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion or a Shake Shack ‘Shroom Burger. My favorite Harrison Ford is Dr. Henry Walton Jones Jr. and I’m not willing to argue.
